A new 10Gbps Fibre-to-the-premises broadband network has been announced by MS3, a Hull based ISP that is looking to expand further in the north of England. It has also been announced that Nokia has been chosen to supply the technology needed to power this fibre network.

MS3 aims to supply 500,000 homes across Hull and other areas which is sure to provide more choice to many residents whom at present only have a handful of providers to choose from.

Chris Byrd, CTO of MS3, said:

“I’m delighted to be working with Nokia as we roll out our network across Hull and other northern towns and cities. Their product portfolio gives MS3 the scalability we need as our network expands and customer demand for bandwidth steadily increases. We are excited to continue building on our already excellent relationship with Nokia in the coming years.”
