Netomnia have announced they will be rolling out Fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) to approximately 44,000 homes across the Carlisle area. This will greatly improve the infrastructure in the area as well being Netomnia’s first multi-gigabit rollout providing gigabit speeds to the homes it will service.
The MP for Carlisle John Stevenson was quoted as saying “It’s a very exciting milestone for residents and businesses in Carlisle who will soon have access to a much needed reliable and ultrafast broadband network. Having a reliable connection is hugely important to level the digital playing field, whilst also attracting new talent to our town.”
